CGTN America: Grocery store in NYC tries to achieve zero packaging waste

More than 292 million tons of trash is generated in America each year. That’s more than three times the amount in 1960 when the U.S. government started keeping records. But the amount of waste being recycled and composted has also increased massively, and there are people looking for ways to live entirely trash free.
CGTN’s Sarah Walton meets the owner of a New York City grocery store that aims to do just that.
